They have just ventured into the digital world, and were looking for someone with expertise and experience in handling digital marketing efforts. Their primary objective was to promote their marquee application modules for sales and support teams.

The Story

We came into the picture when they were still in the process of clearly defining the goals & objectives they wished to achieve from the digital marketing efforts. We helped them set S.M.A.R.T goals based on their performance so far as well as our past experience with the industry.

The first step was to give a complete make-over to the client’s website. We helped them design the website but it was later upgraded by the client again. This was followed by a comprehensive SEO audit, recommendations and fixes on the website to make it search-friendly. We also made the complete website all device responsive.

Next, we initiated a content marketing strategy for them, which included blog post writing, blog promotion along with other complementary link acquisition activities.

6 months into the campaign, we ran a comprehensive analysis to understand if we were achieving the set goals.

We identified three challenges:

  1. Challenge #1 – To generate additional relevant traffic & enhance conversion rates.
  2. Challenge #2 – To ensure a user-friendly, easy to track website for promotional use.
  3. Challenge #3 – Convince them to initiate an inbound marketing campaign, followed by a robust promotion of the same.
The Process

Our approach was to target all three challenges separately, and define corresponding objectives, in order to get the optimal results.

  1. Objective #1 – We introduced paid marketing as a new channel for promotion, and to drive relevant, and increased traffic to the client’s website. We used Google Adwords and Facebook for this exercise while working within a fixed and limited budget for the entire next quarter.
  2. Objective #2 – We ran a sanity check for the website, provided recommendations and suggested value-added changes as required.
  3. Objective #3 – We created an offer in the form of a Contact Management e-Book, followed by an aggressive promotion strategy of that e-Book.
